A perfect gift for your 8th grade graduate or high school student.
One of the gifts of a good education is a love of reading, and those who love reading can’t help inviting others to share their favorite books.
Books for the Journey gathers nearly 1500 of the “best books ever” – organized by subject, described succinctly and accurately. This is the guidebook to literature we’ve been waiting for! For high school and beyond!
Fiction, drama, poetry, biography, history, non-fiction, mythology and sacred writing — they’re all here. Even a section where high school seniors chose the books that made a difference in their lives.
Each category also includes a “Reader’s Road Map” that guides the reader through each section.
