“Every spiritual movement is dependent upon its own innate resources to enkindle among its constituents a fire of enthusiasm, devotion and vision for its community. From time to time individuals will emerge with an original formulation of the content and exemplify the necessary and urgent spirit for a renewal within the movement itself. Harry Salman is one such voice. His capacity to articulate a historical conscience on behalf of the Anthroposophical Movement is both illuminating and inspirational. For anyone who has found a wellspring in Rudolf Steiner’s life work and who is moved to share his vital message within the many arenas of social life, this book is an essential guide.” – William Bento, M.F.C.C.
In this book, the author shares his insights into the anthroposophical social impulse, his vision of the anthroposophical movement, and the possibilities open to each individual to contribute to the renewal of culture.
Harry Salman, born 1953 in Holland, has studied philosophy and social science in his home country and in Yugoslavia and has taught at various Universities in Holland and Eastern Europe. Social and Cultural changes have been his focus of research and has written eight books on European and Russian culture as well as the social ideas of Anthroposophy. Mr. Salman has, since 1990, given courses on science, culture and spirituality at the University of Prague.
