Spirit in Watercolor
“When one thinks clearly about darkness, light and color, it is obvious that their existence is not dependent upon the physical. Darkness and light are primal spiritual phenomena, and the world of color and soul are the result of their interaction.” – Lois Schroff
In Spirit in Watercolor, artist Lois Schroff provides a step-by-step demonstration and explanation of “veil” painting including a discussion on the color theories of German poet J.W. von Goethe and Dr. Rudolf Steiner, and the application of their theories to painting.
After formal studies in watercolor painting in the United States, Lois Schroff went abroad in 1975 to explore painting and color theory as a therapy, which was being developed by those following indications given by Rudolf Steiner. In England, she studied at the Artistic Therapy Center, Gloucester; in Germany at the Kunst Stdienstatte, and in Holland with Liane Collot d’Herbois.
Today Lois Schroff resides in Mexico where she has founded the Lake Chapala Painting Guild, organized for the purpose of promoting juried art shows to provide credible recognition for area painters.

Great video, and exemplary service! Post office damaged the DVD en route, and Frank had a replacement in the mail the next day. Lots of wonderful products that can’t be found anywhere else.
