The Origin and Development of Language
The author’s long experience in working as a Waldorf teacher allows him to offer a wide-ranging survey of the origin of language–from a time when its spiritual roots were still understood, and it was viewed as holy, to the almost soulless polyglot that we call language today. He shows, with enthusiasm and fascinating illustrations, the many layers language consists of, and the debt owed to spiritual science for making available once again a true way of knowing how–and what–we speak.
