Michael Preston, who grew up in Africa and New Zealand, has compiled this wonderful collection of folk music from around the world. The selections are easy to see and not too hard to sight-read for children. They are rich, varied and interesting, with the possibility of harmonic accompaniment if wished. The songs are suitable for children in Year 5 and up.
