About the Author

Admar Kwant lives with her husband and two children in the Netherlands, by the edge of a lake. Her family life and love of nature inspire her drawing and painting. She regularly creates illustrations for Educare, a Dutch parenting magazine. She is the author and illustrator of the board books Pip the Gnome and Pip the Gnome and the Christmas Tree, as well as the picture book for young children, Sam and the Gnome’s Red Hat.
