The Act of Consecration of Man
“The Act of Consecration of Man, the Communion Service of the Christian Community, was first celebrated in September 1922. It was at that time entrusted to a small band of men and women. Some of them had been students, some craftsmen, while others were prominent scholars and theologians. They were united by an impulse to renew religious life. As if in confirmation of their desire, the Act of Consecration of Man was given as a reply from the spiritual world through the person of Rudolf Steiner. Since then it has made its way slowly and surely to many parts of the world, receiving acclamation in the hearts of men and women looking for a living experience of Christ.” –Marta Heimeran
