Young Readers

Stories for children who are beginning to read on their own, from about age seven: folk tales, tall tales and gentle nature stories with pictures to linger over. Look for the fairy tale King Thrushbeard, the tall-tale fun of Sun So Hot I Froze to Death and Little Bee Sunbeam.
