Rudolf Steiner Bookstore is a program of the Center for Anthroposophical Endeavors (CFAE), a Washington State 501(c)(3) nonprofit, P.O. Box 251, Mountlake Terrace, WA 98043. These terms apply when you buy from rudolfsteinerbookstore.com. By placing an order you agree to them.
Prices
All prices are in U.S. dollars. Prices and availability can change without notice. We honor the price and shipping cost shown when you placed your order, even if they later turn out to be wrong. We correct the listing afterwards, and the corrected price applies to future orders.
Your order
The email you receive after checkout confirms that we have received your order. Your order is accepted when we ship it. We may decline or cancel an order, or part of one, for example if an item can’t be supplied or the payment looks fraudulent. If we do, we refund anything you were charged for the cancelled items.
Items we order for you
Many of our books and items come to us from the publisher or maker after you order. Product pages show when an item is on backorder or ships from the publisher. If an item is delayed, we will let you know. You can cancel any item that has not yet shipped and we will refund it in full. If a title goes out of print or can’t be supplied, we refund that item in full. See Shipping & Returns.
Payment and sales tax
We accept cards through Stripe, PayPal, and Apple Pay on Apple devices. Your payment is taken when you place your order. Sales tax is charged where the law requires it and is shown before you pay.
Shipping, returns and refunds
Shipping costs, delivery times, import duties for international orders, returns, refunds, and lost or damaged parcels are all covered on our Shipping & Returns page, which is part of these terms.
Coupons, member and school discounts
- One coupon per order, unless the offer says otherwise.
- Coupons and discounts have no cash value and can’t be applied to past orders.
- Discounts apply to the items in your order, not to shipping, gift cards, or a donation made at checkout.
- Member, school and partner discounts are for the people they are offered to, as described on their own pages.
- We may change or end an offer at any time; an order already placed keeps its discount.
Gift cards
- Gift cards are sent by email and can be used for anything in our store, across as many orders as you like until the balance is used up.
- They never expire and carry no fees.
- They can’t be exchanged for cash, except that a small remaining balance is paid out on request as Washington law provides.
- If a gift card email is lost, contact us and we will resend it.
Donations at checkout
A donation added at checkout goes to CFAE, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. It is separate from your purchase, receives its own receipt, and is not a gift card. See our Donation policy.

Descriptions and images come largely from publishers and makers. Colors and sizes may vary slightly from what you see on screen. Information about remedies and body care is supplied by the maker and is not medical advice.

If you post a review, you allow us to show it on our site. We may remove reviews that are off-topic, offensive, or advertising.
Our content
Text, photos and design on this site belong to CFAE or to the publishers and makers who supplied them. Please don’t copy them for commercial use without permission.
Limits on our responsibility
To the extent the law allows, our responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Snohomish County, Washington, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
