The Life and Work of Rudolf Steiner: From the Turn of the Century to His Death

“Guenther Wachsmuth was one of Dr. Rudolf Steiner’s closest associates, a devoted student, and a leading advocate and defender after Dr. Steiner’s death in 1925. This book is testament to that statement and stands as noble companion to Dr. Steiner’s unfinished Autobiography.” — Bernard J. Garber (from the introduction)

Guenther Wachsmuth, a gifted student of Rudolf Steiner, composed this richly detailed narrative of the culminating quarter century of Steiner’s life and teaching activities.

The author follows Steiner’s numerous lecture tours and activities with the Anthroposophical Society, frequently offering social and personal context for events in his busy schedule.

This volume offers a valuable overview of the life mission of one of the most notable personalities of the twentieth century.

“This book is a major opus in the life and work of Rudolf Steiner. Without it an important segment of Steiner’s life would be missing. We are all fortunate that Guenther Wachsmuth performed this heroic and necessary task for our benefit.” — Bernard J. Garber (from the introduction)

Includes 45 b/w photographs.

The Life and Work of Rudolf Steiner is a translation from German of Die Geburt der Geisteswissenschaft (The birth of spiritual science).
