Christmas in the Forest: Large Advent Calendar
This advent can be used again and again each year as it contains no doors that cannot be tightly closed after the Christmas season.
The Calendar comes with slide in animal figures and every day another animal joins the dwarf, thus all animals of the forest assemble in the course of advent. When all animals are gathered around the Christmas tree, the dwarf and the tree disappear and the grotto for Mary and Joseph appears. But the grotto is still empty. On December 23rd a star will show up above it and finally on December 24th the big picture of the birth of the Christ child fills the grotto. There is Mary and Joseph with the child, the ox and the donkey, and there is a small bird on the straw of the manger.
