Through soft and warm illustrations, and without words, Sarah Laidlaw tells the story of the year — from planting the garden in spring and a summer’s day spent at the beach, to playing in the autumn leaves and decorating the Christmas tree together.

About the Author

Sarah Laidlaw lived in the Yarra Valley, Australia, with her husband and children. She drew much of her artistic inspiration from her own experiences of family life over the years—holidays, festivals, walks in the spring sunshine, and puddles in the rain.
