AIDS, the Deadly Seed: An Anthroposophical and Epidemiological Investigation of a Modern Epidemic and Its Significance
Dumke seeks in this study to penetrate beyond the phenomenon of AIDS in order to gain a clear understanding of its esoteric background. Working out of a firm conviction that the systematic study of the human being contained in Rudolf Steiner’s anthroposophy has a decisive and clarifying contribution to make toward an understanding of AIDS as an illness, Dumke examines the methodology of modern microbiological and medical research and demonstrates how a “complementary knowledge” based on the development of human thinking needs to be fostered in an endeavor to grasp the totality of the human being.
About the Author
Klaus Dumke (1925–2020) was a physician in Dortmund, Germany, where in 1958 he took over the medical practice of Hermann Keiner. From 1964, for more than twenty years, he gave medical seminars for nurses and medical students in Järna, Sweden, and he served for some twenty years on the council of the Anthroposophical Society in Germany. He was the author of numerous medical articles.
