A Spiritual Poem Collection
Monica Gold’s poetry is a heartfelt tapestry woven from the experiences and encounters of a rich and vibrant life. Each poem emerges from her interactions with people, her moments of painting, writing, and creating videos. Her verses are infused with the essence of friendships, memories of her extensive travels across Russia, China, and Thailand, and the inspirations drawn from these adventures.
For nine summers, Monica journeyed through Russia, capturing the soul of the land and its people in her poetry. Her art therapy courses and a decade of teaching at the university have also deeply influenced her work. Monica’s love for life and people shines through every line, reflecting a gratitude for a life filled with fascinating experiences and cherished relationships, first with Andrew her late husband and then with Giselher.
Monica’s creative journey took a new turn two years ago when her Russian interpreter expressed a desire to see her life beyond the written word. Inspired by this heartfelt request, Monica created twelve videos, sharing her life, her insights, and her surroundings. These videos, available on her YouTube channel, delve into profound themes, including the two Jesus children in Luke and Matthew’s gospels.
