Classes 9–12 (Ages 14–18)
Waldorf curriculum resources for Classes 9 through 12 support high school teachers working with adolescents ages 14 to 18 as they develop independent judgment and a personal relationship to knowledge. These approximately 60 titles address the specialized subject teaching that distinguishes the Waldorf upper school.
The curriculum includes world literature, organic chemistry, physics, history from the Renaissance to modernity, projective geometry, and the senior-year independent project. Authors such as Roberto Trostli and David Mitchell provide pedagogical frameworks, while subject guides cover Goethean science, the Grail literature of Class 11, and the social studies themes of Class 12. These titles build on the earlier Waldorf Curriculum sections.
Written for Waldorf high school subject teachers, mentors, and administrators preparing developmentally appropriate courses for young adults.
